In brief: 100% scheme rate for specialists. R50,000 in-hospital limit for cancer, stroke, motor-neuron disease and organ transplant. Scheme pays out-of-hospital claims for: dentistry. Limits apply. All else paid out of pocket, unless PMB.

  • In-hospital: R50,000 per person
  • Out-of-hospital: PMBs only

Note: All oncology benefits are assessed on a case-by-case basis, and are subject to protocols, preferred providers and scheme rules. Benefit covers out-of-hospital treatment too, like chemotherapy.
